🎉 Congratulations to our March Teacher of the Month! 🎉
We are proud to celebrate Coach Caleb Dawson as our March Teacher of the Month! 🍎✨
This honor is especially meaningful as it is voted on by his peers—a true reflection of the respect, admiration, and appreciation he has earned through his dedication and commitment to our school community.
Coach Dawson goes above and beyond in everything he does. From the classroom to the soccer field, he consistently steps up and ensures that everything is taken care of. He never hesitates to lend a hand and is always willing to do what is asked of him. Whether in the hallway, the classroom, or on the field, he shows up for students and supports them in every way possible.
Thank you, Coach Dawson, for modeling excellence and for the impact you make on our students and school each and every day. We are grateful for all you do! 💙
Help us celebrate this well-deserved recognition! 👏👏👏

Tift County High School Criminal Justice students recently participated in an in-depth, real-world learning experience across multiple public safety agencies in our community! 🚓⚖️
Students toured the Tift County Police Department, Sheriff’s Office, EMA, 9-1-1 Department, County Courtroom, and the Merritt Public Safety Building. With guidance from Sgt. Vasquez, Sgt. Spires, and Lt. Dunston, students gained valuable insight into daily operations and career pathways. They also had the opportunity to hear from Chief Hyman, who shared his professional experiences and leadership perspective.
A highlight of the trip included visiting the county jail, where students observed correctional operations, inmate housing, and the control room, gaining a deeper understanding of safety, supervision, and accountability. Some students even participated in the Physical Agility Test (PAT) obstacle course!
The visit concluded at the Merritt Public Safety Building, where students learned how EMA and 9-1-1 work together to ensure effective emergency response and communication.
This experience provided meaningful exposure to the vital roles within law enforcement, corrections, and public safety, encouraging students to continue pursuing their studies with professionalism and purpose.

TCHS was rocking yesterday! 🎸
The “As You Were” Army Band brought high-energy pop and rock music to campus, performing during all four lunches. This talented group travels the nation to build awareness of the U.S. Army and the many career opportunities available.
Our students had a great time enjoying the live concert while also grabbing delicious entrees from the Blue Devil Café! 🎶🍽️
