Congratulations to Jayla W., our Tift County High School Positive Behavior Impact Student of the Month! 🎉
Sponsored by Sumner, Beaumont, York, Kincaid & Agency, LLC, this award celebrates students who consistently model the goals of PBIS through their actions. Jayla is a shining example of positivity and leadership—whether in the classroom, on the sidelines cheering for the Blue Devils, or out in the community. 💙
Through her daily actions, Jayla continues to Raise the Bar at Tift County High School. Her positive influence is felt by classmates, teachers, and the entire school community.
To recognize her impact, Jayla received several spirit items to continue showing her Blue Devil Pride! 💙
We are proud of Jayla for setting the standard high and showing what it means to Raise the Bar as a Blue Devil! Her positive behavior is truly impactful, and she is a wonderful role model for all Tift County students! 🙌

📚 Student success is on the rise at TCHS!
At the end of August last year, 533 students were on academic probation. This year, that number is down to 375 — a 30% decline! We’re proud of the hard work of our students and staff in making this progress possible. #4theT #FueledByMomentum

This August, fights dropped nearly 50% compared to last year. That means more focus on learning, teamwork, and success. Let’s keep pushing forward, together! #4theT

We’re just a few weeks away from celebrating one of our favorite Blue Devil traditions—Homecoming 2025!
Each day during Homecoming Week will have a special theme. 🎈 Students and staff, get ready to show your school spirit and join in the fun!
👉 Check out the daily themes in the images. Please note: themes may vary slightly by grade level to ensure they’re age-appropriate.
We want this to be a fun and safe celebration for everyone:
✔️ Remember that no toy weapons should be brought on Western Day.
✔️ All Code of Conduct procedures remain in effect, regardless of the day’s theme.
Let’s make this Homecoming Week one to remember! 💙 #4theT

Our Horticulture students are getting hands-on with asexual plant propagation! This week, they explored how plants can grow new life using:
🍃 Stem & leaf cuttings
🌿 Modified stems & leaves
🌱 Separation techniques
Using plants like Wandering Jew, Swedish Ivy, Spider Plants, and Kalanchoe, students practiced multiplying plants while learning how stems and leaves play an important role in reproduction. 🌸

We were honored to welcome Ms. Debbie Smith, a former Tiftonite, who shared valuable insight on careers, training programs, and job opportunities available both locally and across the U.S. Students also completed an interest inventory, helping them connect their passions to specific career paths.
Ms. Smith encouraged students to reflect on the importance of knowing yourself—discovering what motivates you, what makes you unique, and who you are meant to be.
A big thank you goes out to Ms. Angela Manders for organizing this wonderful presentation and growth opportunity for our students. And of course, for providing a delicious Chick-fil-A lunch!
Here’s to a year of growth, learning, and new possibilities! 💙Georgia CTAE Tift County High School-Tifton, GA

Instead, we turned to cross-pathway collaboration! 🙌 A Computer Science student researched and found digital files, then used our new 3D printer to create realistic skull replicas right here at TCHS. 🖨️💀🌿
This is CTAE in action—students using technology to solve real-world needs, while learning how innovation and teamwork prepare them for future careers. #CTAE #4theT #RealWorldReady #CTAEdelivers

🌸🐝 Horticulture, students explored sexual propagation through flowers! 🌼
They:
🔹 Took part in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census by counting pollinators on campus
🔹 Learned the parts of the flower and dissected one to see them up close
🔹 Designed their own creative flowers to attract pollinators
🔹 Discovered how pollination works and why it’s essential to plant reproduction
Hands-on learning + real-world science = growing knowledge! 🌱✨

Our marketing students are doing some incredible things! As part of their marketing management course, they had the opportunity to choose a company they admire and write a professional business letter to them. The goal was to build a real-world connection and learn the art of professional communication.
And the results are in! Not only did they get valuable experience, but many of them also received awesome swag and merchandise back from the companies. From discount cards and stickers to a box and bag full of beauty items, it's amazing to see how businesses are recognizing their hard work and passion. We even had a local company hand-deliver a bag full of goodies to one of our students. This project is a fantastic example of how our marketing program extends beyond the classroom, offering hands-on opportunities that yield real-world results. We're incredibly proud of our students for taking the initiative and showcasing their skills. #4theT #CTAEdelivers

Our TCHS Forestry Science students are diving into dendrology—the study of trees. 🍂 This week, they’re honing their skills in identifying Georgia’s native trees by examining their leaves, fruit, bark, and nuts.
Hands-on learning like this connects classroom knowledge to the natural world around us and prepares students for future opportunities in forestry and environmental science. 🌱🌎
