Our Agribusiness students have been building real-world career skills and stepping into professional roles 💼✨

Recently, students wrapped up lessons on:
• Job readiness, including creating resumes and cover letters
• Participating in mock interviews to practice communication and professionalism
• Learning how to conduct effective business meetings using parliamentary procedure
• Demonstrating their knowledge through a mock meeting led by students

These experiences are helping prepare students for success beyond the classroom—whether in the workplace or as future leaders! 👏 #Agribusiness #CareerReady #LeadershipSkills #CTAE

🎉 Congratulations to the GA-051 AFJROTC Drill Team — the Silver Mustangs of Tift County High School! 🇺🇸

⭐ 97% in Color Guard Routine
⭐ 99% in Color Guard Inspection

For a young and developing drill team, these scores are outstanding!

👏 Special recognition goes to Cadet Senior Airman Lyric Martin for earning 🥈 2nd Place in Individual Drill Regulation!

Leadership highlights:
• Cadet Colonel Nicholas Bennett commanded Team #1 in Special Regulation Color Guard Drill
• Cadet Senior Airman Lyric Martin commanded Team #2 in Regulation Color Guard Drill
• Drill Team Commander: Cadet Chief Master Sergeant Levi Irwin

This competition marked our final meet of the year and the conclusion of our drill season.

🌟 Student of the Month! 🌟
We are thrilled to recognize Harrison Cain—a true example of what it means to Raise the Bar!

Harrison is any teacher’s dream student, and one word perfectly describes him: he TRIES. He consistently works hard to do his best on every assignment and takes genuine pride in his work. In group settings, Harrison helps keep his peers focused and on task, and he is always willing to share thoughtful ideas when asked. His effort, leadership, and positive mindset truly set him apart.

Beyond the classroom, Harrison stays actively involved on campus as a student ambassador and a member of the tennis team, all while managing his responsibilities and turning in assignments on time. He is always respectful, responsible, and ready to learn—and he does it all with a smile.

Thank you, Harrison, for being a positive role model and for representing what it means to Raise the Bar at Tift County High School! 💙
A special thank you to Sumner, Beaumont, York, Kincaid (SBYK) Insurance Group for sponsoring our Student of the Month awards and for supporting our Blue Devils!

Mrs. Dawson’s Marketing & Entrepreneurship students recently took on the Marshmallow Tower Challenge: Ownership Edition, a hands-on activity designed to bring business concepts to life, where the tallest freestanding tower wins! Students worked in groups and selected a business structure—partnership, franchise, or corporation. With limited materials, each group had to follow rules specific to their chosen ownership type. Partnerships focused on equal collaboration, franchises operated under structured guidelines, and corporations navigated leadership roles and formal decision-making. This added a real-world layer to the challenge, showing students how different business structures impact communication, efficiency, and overall success.
Throughout the activity, students practiced teamwork, problem-solving, and strategic thinking while making connections to entrepreneurship concepts. It was a fun, competitive way to reinforce how organization and leadership influence outcomes in business.
We are proud of our students for their creativity, collaboration, and effort in this engaging learning experience.
