Area Ag Mechanics Specialist Jerry Stone recently visited Dr. Nichols’ Agricultural Electrification class to discuss the upcoming EMC Wiring Competition. This contest challenges students to demonstrate their skills in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, safety, and proper tool use — all essential skills in agricultural mechanics and future careers in the industry.

Mr. Stone shared contest expectations, provided hands-on tips, and emphasized the importance of precision and safety as students prepare. His visit gave students a valuable opportunity to learn directly from an expert in the field. #4theT

Our Floral Design students had an incredible experience at the Holiday Hustle hosted by RW Wholesale and The Flower Clique! 🌹✨

Students toured RW Wholesale’s floral shop, learned holiday marketing and design tips from industry florists, and connected with retail florists from across the Southeast. They also picked up this week’s class flowers and subscription blooms for our fall arrangements! 🍁💐

Back at school, students stayed after to process flowers and put their new skills into action. We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and dedication! 🌿💛
👉 Stay tuned later this week to see the very first floral arrangement for our Fall Floral Subscription! 🌸🍂

PBIS Student of the Week: Jessica Catanzarita 🎉

Congratulations to this week’s outstanding student, Jessica Catanzarita, for showing excellence in behavior, responsibility, and leadership! We are proud of her hard work and dedication.

Jessica was nominated by Mrs. Christi Fletcher, who shared:
"Jessica is a student I can depend on to show leadership. She participates in class discussions and ensures her assignments are completed accurately. Jessica even goes above and beyond to help classmates who have been absent. She recently sat with a student to walk through the material so they could fully understand it."

👏 A special thank you to Sumner Beaumont York & Kincaid Insurance Agency for sponsoring our Student of the Week recognition!

📚✨ Key Club students were thrilled to participate in a heartwarming project hosted by our local Kiwanis Club! Together, we gathered for a fun and meaningful book-wrapping party to prepare new and gently used books for children in need. 🎁

This wonderful initiative is a partnership between the Kiwanis Club and local elementary schools, where every student will receive 24 books during the holiday season. 🌟

Students, clubs, and community members met at the Hilton Garden Inn to kick off this collaborative effort, and we'll reconvene in November to complete the project. Thank you to everyone involved for making this season a little brighter for kids in our community! 💖
