Just before Spring Break, students from TCHS in partnership with work-based learning toured Exlabesa here in Tifton. This company makes aluminum parts for construction, automotive, and energy sectors. Exlabesa is known for macro-extrusion which means they have some of the largest machines in the world to make aluminum parts. Students learned about job opportunities related to extrusion including potential opportunities for them at the Tifton plant.

Tift CTI students had the incredible opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Georgia Aquarium. 🐠
While the trip was fun, interesting, and educational, it was also eye-opening. Students learned about a variety of careers and got an up-close look at the animals and the care that goes into keeping the aquarium running each day.🐬
This experience showed our students how CTAE classes are truly a stepping-stone, helping them build the knowledge and skills needed for real-world careers like those they saw at the aquarium.
We are so proud of our students for representing Tift County High and Georgia CTI so well and taking advantage of this amazing opportunity! 💙 #4theT #ChallengeTheImpossible #CTAEdelivers
