🧁🤖 In Dr. Busbin’s Artificial Intelligence class, students had a sweet challenge—classifying mini cupcakes and mini eclairs as either a sandwich, a taco, or neither. After making their choices, they remixed the lesson by flipping the bottom of the cupcake to the top to create a new form… and then reclassified it!
This hands-on activity showed how AI works when using data sets for training—just like cupcakes can be reimagined, data can be reshaped, leading to different outcomes. 🍫✨

📚✨ Students in Ms. Harper’s ELA class brought literature to life today by creating mini posters to represent important symbols from The Book Thief. Such a creative way to deepen their understanding of the novel’s themes while showcasing their artistic side! 🎨✍️#4theT

🌱 Biology in Action! 🌱
Mrs. April Richards’ biology students kicked off the year with chat stations designed to build both science skills and classroom connections! 💬🔬

At each station, students worked together on tasks like:
🔎 Making detailed observations
📊 Creating classification systems
🧬 Exploring homologous structures
➗ Practicing math for biology
🧪 Identifying lab safety hazards & creating procedures
✍️ Completing a Claim-Evidence-Reasoning task

The challenge? 🤝 Meet as many classmates as possible by switching groups at each rotation! A fun and interactive way to strengthen science skills while building community. 🌟

🔌💡 Big things are happening in Mr. Grant's Agriculture Mechanics 1 class! The past two weeks our students rolled up their sleeves and dove into electrical wiring, learning how to wire a single pole switch and a light. From understanding how the circuit flows to hands-on practice with real components, they’re gaining skills that connect directly to everyday life and future careers. 📏➡️ Physics students kicked off their investigation into vectors today! Vectors are measurements that include both magnitude (amount and unit) and direction.

To put their learning into motion, students explored vectors in both one and two dimensions—moving and taping off their paths to compare total distance traveled with displacement (how far they ended up from the origin).

🕵️‍♂️🔍 Students in Mrs. Alexander’s Forensic Science class kicked off their first mock investigation with an exciting, immersive crime scene!

Presented with details—some in plain sight, others cleverly hidden—students began learning the fundamentals of crime scene processing. Their mission: uncover the victim(s), identify suspect(s), and determine a possible motive.

Along the way, unexpected plot twists kept them on their toes, adding intrigue and excitement to the challenge. This hands-on, minds-on activity brought together critical thinking, teamwork, and plenty of detective work—setting the stage for a thrilling semester ahead! 🧪 #4theT #RaisingTheBar #FutureDetectives

💙🤍 CTAE was out in full force supporting our BlueDevils! From ROTC leading the way with traffic control and a powerful presentation of the colors, to Mrs. Dawson and her marketing students shining with the brand-new Diablos Mobile Store, our programs were everywhere, making an impact.
Mr. Grant and Ms. Vance kept the energy high with the cannon booming after every BlueDevil score 🔥, while Dr. Busbin and TALOS made lots of new friends at the game. What an incredible night of teamwork, school spirit, and community pride!
