Mrs. Blaire Hill and Mrs. Jennifer Alexander's classes participated in a tool mark lab last week. Students produced tool marks and then casted the impressions. Investigators cast impressions to compare markings with tools they suspect are used in crimes.

Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Hill, and Mrs. Staines teamed up to introduce the Forensic Science classes to bloodstain pattern analysis. Students recreated common blood spatter patterns and interpreted what the patterns tell investigators about a crime.
