The Agribusiness class has been learning business etiquette skills along with different business structures. Students learned how to make proper business phone calls, send business emails, introduce business associates, and write proper thank you letters as they invited local businesses to speak to their class. They would like to say a special thank you to the following businesses for agreeing to be a guest speaker in their class: Murray’s Flower Gallery & Gift Shop, Rossman Apiaries, Blue Tassel, and Nutrien Ag Solutions. #BTTY #4theT

Melissa Busbin wrote a Bright Ideas grant through Colquitt EMC and was chosen! Her grant proposal focused on teaching classic critical thinking skills of traditional board games with a modern way to connect and align with computer programming and technology. Her goal is to inspire students to develop their own games as they develop computational thinking, problem solving, and team work. This is Mrs. Busbin’s second time receiving a Bright Ideas grant; congratulations! #BTTY #4theT #CTAE

How much skin do we actually have? Mrs. Blaire Hill's anatomy students used newspapers to replicate skin on one of their classmates. They were surprised to see how much skin we have on our bodies! It's no surprise that skin is the largest organ of the human body! #BTTY #4theT
