📣 Student Spotlight: Evan -- Computer Science Intern & Information Technology Pathway Completer! 📣
Hands-on skills and real-world applications are the heart of CTAE! This week, Shawn Collins of Georgia Agricultural Education, representing the South Region Agriculture Education, visited our Computer Science Lab. Mr. Collins discussed an exciting potential collaboration for our students on a real-world project that serves our local agriculture community.
The challenge? Their team uses a specialized tool called "logger tape," but finding reliable suppliers for refills has been tough. Together, we’re exploring how our tech-savvy students might assist by designing a 3D file and printing the parts needed. Evan is showcasing the 3D renderings and sections of the prototype – a true demonstration of how students can make an impact with innovative solutions. 🌱💻
Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project that bridges technology and agriculture! #CTAE #Innovation #Agriculture #3DPrinting #ITPathway #FutureReady #CTAEdelivers #4theT #internship #gactae Georgia CTAE #LetsGrowTogether

Mrs. Heather Hathaway's class had a Momentum and Impulse Egg Toss lab. Students moved different distances and tossed eggs to see how far and how much force the egg could sustain before breaking. #4theT #LetsGrowTogether

🎨🦃 Creativity is in full swing in Mrs. Keen’s Graphic Design & Production class! To kick off November, these talented CTAE students put a fresh spin on the elementary classic ‘Disguise Tom Turkey.’ Using Adobe Illustrator, they transformed Tom into clever disguises to help him escape Thanksgiving dinner! From a ninja to Ole St. Nick himself, the creativity and skill of the student are off the charts! 🖌️💻 We’re so proud of their dedication to both design and thinking outside the box. Way to go, designers! #CreativeLearning #ThanksgivingFun #AdobeIllustrator #DesignClass #4theT #CTAEDelivers#LetsGrowTogether

Every can of food you donate helps feed a family in need, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals. Your contribution, big or small, will make a difference and spread kindness in our community. Donations can be dropped off at TCHS or you may send them to school with a student. #4theT #LetsGrowTogether

TCHS is pleased to report that the first set of students have completed the infant simulator segment of the course. Their commitment and hard work have resulted in them gaining valuable insights and practical skills in early childhood care, which will undeniably benefit their future educational and career pursuits. In addition to completing the infant simulator segment, the students have demonstrated a range of responsibilities throughout the process. These responsibilities include caring for the infant simulator, ensuring its safety and well-being, responding to its needs promptly, and documenting its experiences and reflections. By fulfilling these duties, the students have not only enhanced their practical skills but also developed a deeper understanding of the responsibilities involved in caring for young children. Congratulations! #4theT #LetsGrowTogether
