Ms. Dunn’s fourth grade class has been learning about the American Revolution. While on the Road to Revolution, students learned about the unfair taxes and acts, such as the Quartering Act and the Stamp Act, that King George III enforced upon the colonists.
Throughout the week, students experienced what it was like to be a colonist under the ruling of King George III by having to pay taxes for paper materials needed and having to take care of the British soldiers.
At the end of the week, students wrote letters to King George III to express how unfair it was to not have representation in the British Parliament.

I would like to personally thank all of the students and parents who helped to make our fall book fair a success! All funds will go toward purchasing new books for our library.
