2020-2021 Tift County High School
Parking Permit Information

TCHS Parking Pass

Before purchasing a Parking Permit, the student must complete the Parking Permit Packet (download from the link at the bottom of this page or pick up a copy from the main office of the school), have it signed by a parent/guardian, and provide proof of driver’s license, registration, and insurance.  The student must take care of all school debts before purchasing a permit.  Only the student or his/her guardian may purchase a permit, and only one permit may be purchased per person.  The person making the purchase must wait in line, and permits are sold on a first come, first served basis to those in line.

Seniors and juniors in the Top 10% of their respective classes are allowed to purchase parking permits early.  The Top 10% of each class was contacted via Infinite Campus Call Out/Email.  We do verify that the student has earned the appropriate number of credits necessary to be a senior or junior or are in the Top 10% of their class before receiving the parking permit.  Students or parents/guardians must not report to campus any earlier than an hour prior to the beginning of the sale to wait in line for a permit.  Permits will be sold at the following times:

Seniors in the Top 10% of the Class of 2021 - July 21 beginning at 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Juniors in the Top 10% of the Class of 2022 - July 21 beginning at 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

*Senior and Junior Parking Spot Numbers will Apply*

Seniors (Class of 2021) - July 23 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Juniors (Class of 2022) - July 23 from 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Any student - July 27 from 8:00 PM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 - 4:30 PM

Parking passes this year will be sold on a drive through model. Please use the bus entrance off of New River Church Road and proceed to the bus ramp located at the rear of the school. As stated, the gates will open until 8:00 AM on the morning of your sell date and we request that all students/parents remain in their vehicle. A school representative will meet you at your car for your convenience and retrieve all paperwork and payment. Due to the nature of this year, parking permits will be given out by grade and first come, first serve basis. All Top 10% will be given preferential spots in their respective sections of the lot.

*Please note that overnight parking on campus will not be permitted.*

Beginning August 7th, student parking permit instructions will be provided during the school day.
