Tift Schools Summer Work Application

The Tift County School System is currently seeking to hire twenty-two Tift County High School students, age 16 or older, to assist in moving boxes and furniture between schools this summer. Students who will graduate in May are eligible to apply. The salary is minimum wage with no additional benefits. Applications are available in the front office and attached to this.

TCHS Blue Devil Players present Disney's The Little Mermaid

The TCHS Blue Devil Players will be presenting Disney's The Little Mermaid. The show will be April 26 - 28 at 6:00 p.m. and April 29 at 3:00 p.m. in the Tift County High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets will be $5 for students and $10 for adults. Tift County High School Honors Night

Due to construction at Tift County High School, the ceremony for Honors Night has been moved to the UGA Conference Center. The conference center is located on 15 RDC Road in Tifton, Georgia. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24th. The students will process into the auditorium at 6:15 p.m. Please arrive early to secure a seat. We are looking forward to celebrating the academic achievements of the students of Tift County High School.

Congressional Art Competition open to High School Students

Each spring the United States House of Representatives sponsors an art competition for high school students. The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982 to provide an opportunity for Members of Congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. Since then, over 650,000 high school students have been involved with the nationwide competition.
