Car-rider drop-off and pick-up location is changing due to completion of construction on the new main entrance to Tift County High School. Beginning Monday, February 12th, drivers should enter the campus via the main entrance off New River Church Road. All lanes of the main entrance are now open for traffic. Drivers should follow the main entrance driveway to the covered sidewalk at the front of the building, and students may be dropped off anywhere along the covered sidewalk. For students’ safety, students should not be dropped off at any other location on campus other than the covered sidewalk at the front of the building.
To enter the building prior to 8:05, students should follow the pedestrian walkway to the building entrance located at the Commons. Students arriving prior to 8:05 should not enter the new main entrance.
Students arriving after 8:05 will enter the building at the new main office and report to the attendance office to check-in.
Drivers should exit the campus by following the main exit driveway back to New River Church Road and turning right onto New River Church Road.
Visitors to the campus should enter the new main entrance off New River Church Road, follow the entrance driveway past the new main entrance to the school and turn right off the exit driveway into the visitor parking lot.
