Students in Mrs. Spivey's Biology classes applied their knowledge of the scientific method to determine the different colors of M&Ms in a bag. They had to develop a hypothesis using prior knowledge, create a data table and calculate percentages, draw a bar or circle graph to represent the data, and report their findings in a conclusion paragraph.
Students in Mrs. Alexander's Environmental Science class participated in a lab to explain the importance of including details when using the scientific method. Students wrote directions on how to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They then swapped papers and had to make the sandwiches according to their classmate’s directions.
